Three months

You truly understand how much God loves you when you see your baby for the first time. You continue to see this love at 3 am when you're absolutely exhausted and you make eye contact with your baby, then they smile so brightly. I always knew God loved me so deeply, but truly didn't comprehend how deep until I saw Elcie. She is my glimpse into heaven.
This past three months have truly been the best 3 months I've ever known (Emotions included haha). She has changed so much- I'm still in awe of her everyday. I love how fully and excitedly she takes in her surroundings. She truly reminds me to "stop and smell the roses". We can forget how blessed we are. We get easily distracted by the materialistic items too often. Then Elcie is there to remind me how everything is new and exciting. I pray that I take time to enjoy life the way she is.

One huge thing I have been learning this month is that she is a great opportunity to witness. When I go into town I "zone" into my world trying to get my chores done. I go to any store and people want to see and touch her and just chat with me. My rude human self just wants to get stuff done and not talk. I've been so unbelievably convicted by this lately, being reminded that just a simple conversation with a stranger can make their day and my day better!

The huge accomplishments this past month are:
-She is sleeping through the night!!! It's been a huge blessing, but I also miss my time with her in the early morning.
-She also has officially rolled over from her back to her stomach (she has done stomach to back since she was 1 month old).
-She "talks" so much. It truly melts me, hearing your baby get excited to see you and make noises is the sweetest gift!
Time is going by way to quickly. I still am trying to grasp that she is 3 months old!!! Such a blessing the lord has given us! <3
