My Heart My Tribe

It's so funny to me to think about all the things we don't realize will change when we become a mom. I'm not meaning the state the obvious type things, I mean the little things like clothes, hair and accessories. Maybe it's just me but I really know that can't possibly be true. I have a long dangled earring obsession and have for years, except up until this last year. Why? Because I have an active toddler that thinks that jewelry is a toy to pull on ;) and I know I am DEFINTELY not alone in that. I have been having the hardest time just finding simple but cute earnings that won't be an issue with Elcie. Recently I came across My Heart My Tribe and love the uniqueness in her products. She hand makes every pair of earrings and each pair is its own. I love the fabric choices that's she offers as well, they are perfect for pairing with a casual outfit or when you get dressed up. The major plus is she is affordable! This is my first pair from her and I have been loving adding them to my outfits... and Elcie has not yanked them out as well ;) It's fun when you can tell that someone is passionate about their craft and Simran is definitely passionate about hers!

These are five fun facts about Simran:

1. I work on orders almost always in the very early am before the sun is up and before my girls are up!
2. Although my earrings are my best sellers, I make hairpins and bookmarks too!
3. I am a licensed cosmetologist but I'm not working as a hairstylist right now. I wanted to stay home with my girls so I adopted a 3rd child. (This business!)
4. I wear my own earrings! I can't help it, I love them. I feel like Kanye when I do though!
5. My earrings have made it to about 25 states! I'm hopingthis year, they make it to another 25!
