A month and counting

WOW. nine months has flown before my eyes. I remember the feeling of when I first found out I was pregnant. I was only 4 weeks along and at the moment it felt as if nine months away was an eternity. It's not though, it has flown. I have so many mixed emotions. I am so excited to become a mom, and I am also very nervous to become a mom. I know though that I will not perfect, and that I am going to have to lean on God so much to help raise the child he has gifted us with!
Some very exciting news... I found out at my 35 week checkup yesterday that I am 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So crossing my fingers that I will be delivering early, but at the same time I am totally fine with going full term. Tay and I believe I am already dilated 2 cm due to the holidays and all the hiking we have been doing in the snow ;) We are going to go on walks as much as possible now to see if it helps to continue dilating me!

We were so busy with Christmas and just enjoying the winter weather that we quickly realized we need to be ready for baby to arrive! So Saturday we gutted out our place.... more like spring cleaning in winter ;) It completely calmed my nesting mode knowing that our home is ready for baby.
Now I am trying to tackle my hospital bag.
I honestly believed this was going to be the easiest part of my entire pregnancy, but sadly I am finding it to be a challenge! I have been researching other mommies blogs on what they say to pack and have created my own list with that. So I am praying that this will be what I need! :)

  1. Such a cute blog love!! :) you have a great list here, by any chance do you have a boppy? It really helped me nurse better with it during those first days where you are kind of extra tired! :)
